  For this assignment, I asked my students to create a video consisting of exactly eleven shots. The first shot should be an extreme wide shot, then a wide shot, followed by a medium shot, a medium close up, close up and extreme close up. After the extreme close up, the frame will get progressively wider for shots 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. The goal for this assignment was to get my students used to photographing different types of compositions and familiarizing them with a video camera and editing software. I told the students that I would be impressed if their video told a story.
  
  These particular short films have been nominated for a special end-of-the-year honor, to be named at the CSHM fine arts banquet in May, 2017.
