ADMISSION PROCESS

Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary is a Catholic co educational High School located in Montebello. Our philosophy and mission is based on the call to "To Teach as Jesus Did." We strive to offer our students a rigorous College Preparatory education, while stressing the importance of acting with Christian character.

Incoming Freshmen and Transfer Application
There is a $50 application fee due at time of submission for domestic and transfer students. -
Archdiocese Common Evaluation Forms (below)
Parents fill out the top half of the form and submit it to the student's current school. The school will then share it with CSHM directly. Incoming Freshmen need only ONE evaluation from ether their current Math Teacher, English Teacher OR Current Principal.Transfer students will need to have three evaluation forms completed from their Math and English teacher and either a counselor or administrator. Freshmen and transfer evaluation forms can be sent via email to various evaluators via the checklist item on the admissions parent portal.

Please fill out the parent permission form on the admissions parent portal so we can request transcript and test scores from your student’s school. -
Please submit your most recent 8th grade Math and Reading standardized test scores.

ACCEPTANCE EMAILED
Friday, March 5, 2027
Letters of Acceptance are emailed out informing Incoming Freshmen of their acceptance status. In this email you will learn the time of your registration appointment.
