Summer School Schedule & Classes

Freshman Summer Session

In order to determine eligibility for fall placement, your child is required to take the summer courses listed below, except for Algebra I and Geometry Enrichment.
The CSHM High School Summer Session for the Class of 2025 begins Monday, June 14th for all Freshmen classes including Freshmen Enrichment classes.  All classes end on Friday, July 8th, except for the enrichment classes, which end July 15th. All classes will be Monday through Thursday.  Summer School classes will be taught in person.

Summer School tuition is due anytime before June 5th, 2021

                                          One required class - $275

                                          Two required classes - $400

                                          Enrichment class - $550

Enrichment Classes: These courses are intended to complement the strong skill-based curriculum in the core classes and to provide students with opportunities to build upon existing knowledge in areas of their choice. These classes are 10 credits at $550 per 5-week class. 


Classes Begin: June 14th, 2021

Classes End: July 15th, 2021

Monday - Thursday


*Classes offered can be found in the Summer School Brochure attached below. This year CSHM is offering a 5th year of English. This class is recommended by the Cal State system.


Review Classes: These courses are designed for students to make up a "D" or an "F". These classes are worth 5 credits at $400 per four-week class.  If two classes are taken the cost is reduced to $550 for both classes. If three classes are taken the cost is reduced to $700.

Classes End: July 8th, 2021

Withdrawal Policy: Withdrawals prior to June 14th for the Enrichment or Review classes may be made without grade or credit penalty. A full refund minus a $25 processing fee will be issued within 10 working days from when funds have cleared.  A student who fails to withdraw officially before the deadline and is failing the course for reasons, which may include nonattendance, will receive a grade of "F" at the end of summer school and will not be eligible for a refund.
